Bengaluru: Even as Bengaluru is in the grip of the Corona Virus, the state home department has transferred 47 police inspectors. This has raised several questions. Most of these inspectors are serving in the important city police stations. The state home department termed the transfer routine.
There is no clarity on the reasons why the transfers have been effected at this point in time. “There is no clarity why the transfers are made at this stage. All the city police stations are on a high alert due to the COVID 19 scare. In such a scenario, there was no need of this transfers at all,” said a senior police officer
