Bengaluru: The city is set to witness Kambala for the first time, with the event scheduled for two days on Saturday and Sunday (November 25 and 26) under the banner “Namma Kambala, Bangalore Kambala.” Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, the wife of Yuvaratna Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar, inaugurated the event of Kambala Lake on Saturday (November 25).
The inauguration witnessed the presence of former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, MP Sadananda Gowda, Minister Shobha Karandlaje, MLA SR Vishwanath, and Ashok Kumar Rai, the President of Bengaluru Kambala Samiti.
Thousands of spectators are expected to attend the Kambala event at the Palace Grounds. In response, the police have implemented comprehensive security measures. Those attending the Kambala can access the venue through gates 1, 2, 3, and 4.
