Dubai/Bengaluru: Rakshith Shetty and Rashmikha Mandanna starrer Kannada movie Kirik Party bagged 6 awards in total at South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) event held at Dubai.
For the star couple Rakshith Shetty and Rashmikha Mandanna, the awards provided ideal setting ahead of their betrothal scheduled at 6.30 pm on July 3. The movie team not only received wide appreciation from several quarters but also several awards in recognition of the work by the entire team.
The ‘Kirik Party’ movie, created a history of sorts in Sandalwood when it touched 150 days on big screen and also garnered international which is considered rare in recent times.
Kirik Party received six prestigious awards at SIIMA including the best Best Film and Best Director Award bagged by Rishab Shetty.
Rashmikha Mandanna-Best Upcoming Actress, Chandan Achar-Best Actor in Character Role, Best Music Director-B Ajaneesh Lokanath and Best Song Writer-Dhananjay Ranjan for the song “Belageddu Yaara Mukha” are among the other recipients of the SIIMA awards.
