In Bengaluru, an autorickshaw driver is earning admiration for turning his vehicle into a “mini library” for passengers, offering a collection of spiritual and philosophical books for free. The rickshaw, which features a sign that reads “Free for all, take if you wish,” includes titles in both Kannada and English, such as Why Divorce? and God Loves You.
The unique initiative caught the attention of LinkedIn user Ravilla Lokesh, who shared a picture of the vehicle on social media. He wrote, “Only in Bengaluru can you find life advice and philosophical wisdom handed out for free… in an autorickshaw.” The photo quickly went viral, with many users celebrating the driver’s generosity. One user called it a “Peak Bengaluru” moment, while another remarked, “Bengaluru’s vibes are wild. An auto driver giving life lessons? Classic. That’s pure Bengaluru spirit.”
