Bengaluru: One of the iconic pilgrimage spots in State is Sri Ramadevara Betta in Ramanagara Town. Pattabhirama deity of this Temple is worshipped by millions of people. Now the BJP is planning to build South’s Rama Mandira in line with Ayodhya Rama Mandir here.
District In-Charge Minister Dr. C. N. Ashwath Narayana announced that this Temple will be developed as Ayodhya of South. He said that Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has instructed to prepare a blue print of development. “We will soon submit. The works will be launched by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath,” he said.
According to the mythology Sugreeva installed the deity of Lord Shri Rama in this Temple.
