Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will visit New Delhi for three days from July 24.

He will return to Bengaluru on July 26. It is a three-day visit to New Delhi.

CM will attend the swearing-in programme of the new President of India on July 24.

On July 24 and 25, he will meet party leaders and Union Ministers over various issues pertaining to the State. “Cabinet expansion is one of the agendas of discussion with party national leaders,” explained CM.

According to sources, K. S. Eshwarappa who was given a clean chit by the CID on Wednesday already started pressure tactics to induct him into the Cabinet beside senior leaders like Ramesh Jarakiholi, etc.

With the State going for the election in less than a year, the BJP unlikely is to rejig the party. Instead, a minor expansion may be allowed to balance all the social groups.
