Bengaluru: In response to 40% commission charge against his Government, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Friday October 7 accused the Congress of “maladministration” while it was in office from 2013 to 2018 and alleged that there were cases of “100% corruption” at the time.

Speaking to the BJP’s State Executive Meeting, he reminded party members of their huge duty and the high expectations that the public had for them.

“The State’s citizens still remember the Congress’ maladministration and decisions; contrary to what they think. Speeches today are being made by those who have forgotten everything. During their tenure, there was no social harmony because of intercommunal violence and murders.”

He said that the Congress Government, which was plagued with scams, had caused the State’s law and order to collapse.

“There have been instances where corruption has been 100 percent. All departments saw widespread corruption under the Congress, “He noted, among other things, the alleged corruption in the minor irrigation department and the borewell scam are notable.
