Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has directed officials on Thursday October 20 to ensure that airport passengers are not impacted during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kempegowda International Airport next month.
The Chief Minister met with officials in advance to discuss arrangements for the inauguration of airport terminal 2 and the November 11 unveiling of a 108-foot statue of Bengaluru’s Founder Nadaprabhu Kempegowda. He said that the event shouldn’t have an impact on people who are travelling to the airport.
He also added that the police should make sure that there is no traffic disruption on the day of the inauguration.
