Bengaluru: Government to reconsider order making seat belt compulsory

Bengaluru: The State Government is likely to reconsider the State Police’s order stating everyone to wear seat belts while travelling.

Karnataka Police had issued orders to penalise people for not using seat belts. This included even those in the backseat. It was decided impose a fine of Rs. 1000.

However, the Government has decided to review the orders after facing feedback from the public at large regarding the same.
