Bengaluru: Hoysala Patrol rescues woman attempting suicide

Bengaluru: A woman who tried to attempt suicide by consuming pesticide in Pulakeshinagara was rescued by the Hoysala Police in a cinematic manner.

In Pulakeshinagara, a 30-year-old woman was mentally disturbed due to a family problem. On the night of Sunday February 26, when no one was at home, she attempted suicide by consuming pesticide. Then she screamed, unable to bear the pain. Locals who heard the woman’s screams tried to reach her but could not as the door was locked from inside.

Then locals called the Pulakeshinagara Police and informed them about the incident. Pulakeshinagara Police Station Inspector V. B. Kiran had sent a message to the Hoysala Patrol Vehicle Staff who were on duty.

Hoysala Staff rushed to the woman’s house, broke open the door and took her to the hospital in a police vehicle. The woman, who was on the verge of dying escaped unhurt due to timely treatment.
