Bengaluru: BJP State Vice-President Tejaswini Ananthkumar opposed eggs along with midday meal. As expected liberals opposed her statement in this regard.

In a series of tweets, she questioned the Government move.

It can be recalled that last week State Government introduced eggs along with the midday meal. Every month 8 boiled eggs will be distributed along with eggs.

“Why has our Karnataka Government decided to give eggs in midday meal? These are not the only source of nutrition. It is also exclusionary to many students who are vegetarians. Our policies are to be designed such that every student has equal opportunity,” she stated.

As expected netizens slammed her. Many stated that Tejaswini is trying to impose the food habits of a few on the majority of the people.
