Bengaluru: Namma Clinic inaugurated at Sankey Lake

Bengaluru: Local MLA and Higher Education Minister Dr. C. N. Ashwath Narayan has launched the Namma Clinic at Sankey Lake premises in Malleshwaram on Sunday February 12.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that there were only two Primary Health Centres (PHCs) in Malleshwaram limits 15 years ago. Now there are 7 Namma Clinics and an Integrated Urban Primary Health Centre. Out of these, 5 each of Namma Clinics and CUPHC are already operational. The remaining four health centres will be inaugurated in a few days, he said.

The number of people coming for morning and evening walks at the Sankey Lake premises is high. Therefore, Namma Clinic here has been provided with the facility to function from 6:45 am to 10:30 am and from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm,” he said.
