Bengaluru: II PUC results for the academic year 2022-23 have been declared. The PU Board director held a press conference and announced the results.
Dakshina Kannada district (95 per cent) ranked first in the State, followed by Udupi second, Kodagu third and Uttara Kannada got fourth place.
Tabassum Sheik, a student of Jayanagar College, topped the state with 593 marks in arts stream. Similarly, Ananya of Alva’s College, Moodabidri, secured 600 out of 600 marks in the commerce stream and stood first in the state. Kaushik of Kolar Gangotri College secured 596 marks in science stream and topped first place in the state.
The exams were held from March 9 to 29 at 1,109 centres across the state. A total of 7,27, 923 students had registered their names, out of this 7,25,821 students had attended the exam.
