Bengaluru Rural: Devanahalli MLA L. N. Narayanaswamy said that top priority has been given for the overall development of 23 wards of the Town.
Speaking after inaugurating various development works in the third ward of the Town Municipality, he said that in the 15th Finance Plan, various development works including pumping of borewell, installation of motors, drainage works, and concrete road are being carried out. In all, 1 Crore 76 Lakh worth works are carrying out the works after getting approval from the Municipality for the costly works,” he said.
“Taxes are paid to urban areas. There is a shortage of tax money for rural areas. In all Rs. 10 Crore has already been released. The costly Nagarothana grant is being released and the tender is in the process. A special grant of Rs. 3 Crore has been given to Vijayapura Town.
