Bengaluru: The national executive of the BJP is slated to be held in Mysuru from Saturday and as per sources all the efforts of the party’s national leadership to make the two estranged leaders of the party-BS Yeddyurappa and K S Eshwarappa bury the hatchet has failed. With this the possibilities of the two leaders attending the meeting together seems vague.
KS Eshwarappa has made his stand very clear indirectly by scheduling Sangolli Rayanna Brigade’s event in Raichuru around the same time.
Recently, Eshwarappa has told reporters in Raichuru that he had not got any official invite for the executive meeting.
While two popular leaders of the party are resorting to mudslinging, it is rather surprising to know that leaders like Sadananda Gowda, Jagadish Shettar, Anantha Kumar and others are not coming out in open to solve the issue so that the BJP could unitedly work towards realising the target of ‘Congress-free Karnataka’ set by BJP National President Amit Shah.
Every commoner is now wonder as to why the national leadership, which otherwise plunges into action even when minor confusions erupt in the party is now not making a sincere effort to solve the issue.
The very fact that the executive meeting is being held without addressing the core issue affecting the party too has disheartened the honest party workers, say sources.
On one hand, while Rebel leader K S Eshwarappa is supervising the preparations for Brigade convention at Harshitha Gardens in Raichuru, BSY is preparing for the executive meet in Mysuru on the other hand.
