Bengaluru: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) on Thursday termed the Parivarthana Yatra taken out by the State BJP president and former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa as a “hit-and-run yatra”, and it has failed to attract people’s support in districts.
Briefing media persons on the three-day review programme meetings chaired by AICC general secretary K.C. Venugopal, KPCC president G. Parameshwara said the yatra has failed to expose a single case or scam against the government.
BJP leaders have been levelling various charges against the government and Ministers, but they do not have documents to prove them, the KPCC chief claimed. On the future plans of the party to galvanise party workers, the KPCC chief said all booth-level heads have been told to hoist the Congress flag on the party’s Founders Day on December 28.
