Bengaluru: A goldsmith from Bengaluru has made a miniature World Cup trophy as a tribute to the Indian cricket team.

Nagraj Revankar, with the hope that India will win the world cup, has made a miniature trophy using 0.490 grams of gold. The height of the trophy is 1.5 centimetres.

“I have created this as the cricket season is going on. I am sure India will win the World Cup and hence, I created this small trophy. Everyone is coming to look at this small trophy I have created,” Nagraj Revankar said as quoted by ANI.

Progressing to the semi-finals, India is currently placed at the second position in the tournament standing. Team India on Tuesday, July 2, defeated Bangladesh by 28 runs to progress to the semi-finals and will be facing Sri Lanka on July 6.
