Bengaluru: A Bengaluru court has extended the police custody of Sandalwood actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjana Galrani for three more days in connection to the drug peddling case in Karnataka.
Four of the actresses’ associates and co-accused in the case – Ravi Shankar, Rahul Shetty, Niyaz, and Loum Pepper Samba – have also had their police custody extended till September 14.
The development comes after techie-turned-drug peddler Prateek Shetty was arrested by the Central Crime Bureau (CCB) of the Bengaluru Police on Friday in connection with the case. He was reportedly arrested based on the confession of Ragini Dwivedi’s friend Ravi Shankar.
