Bengaluru: Chief Commissioner Gaurav Gupta of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has flagged off six more vaccination vans on Wednesday December 15 in collaboration with other NGOs to strengthen the City’s Covid-19 vaccination drive.

Six vaccine vans have been deployed in the four zones as part of CSR initiatives by 3M India, GE, Vaccine On Wheels, and United Way Bengaluru. A vaccinator and a data entry operator will be available in each vaccination van.

The goal is to ensure complete vaccination in Bengaluru and to reach out to those who have not been vaccinated.

By March 2022, it is expected to have vaccinated around 50,000 unvaccinated people.

So far, more than 1.72 crore vaccination doses have been administered in the City.
