Bengaluru: A Muslim leader from Meerut in UP has announced a bounty of Rs 51 lakh on the head of Naveen, nephew of Karnataka Congress MLA R Akhanda Srinivasmurthy for his Facebook post.
It may be recalled that riots broke in Bangaluru after Naveen posted on FB about Prophet Muhammad. It is said that his post came in response to a derogatory post on Hindu goddess Lakshmi.
However, Muslim community members vandalised Akhanda Srinivas’ residence, vehicles, and even set fire to some of the vehicles. Three lives were lost in the police firing that was used to bring the situation under control.
Now, former SP leader Shahzeb Rizvi from UP has, in a video, appealed to the members of his community to bring Naveen’s head and take home a bounty of Rs 51 lakhs.
“Members of my community must come forward and help me gather that amount,” he is seen appealing in the video.
