Bengaluru: AICC spokesperson Brijesh Kalappa, on Sunday, released an audio clipping of a woman accusing a BJP Lok Sabha candidate from the state of sexual harassment. The name of the candidate has been withheld for legal reasons.
During a press conference held in the city, Kalappa informed that the audio recording was made by a journalist while talking to one of the alleged victims over the phone. However, the voice samples of the woman have not been verified independently.
In the audio clip, the woman can be heard saying that she was sexually harassed by the candidate. The woman also claimed that three more women were harassed by the candidate.
Kalappa then urged the state government and the courts of law to take action against the candidate immediately.
