“The CM’s office sent a letter to the governor’s office seeking time for the oath administration either on Friday or Sunday. Most likely it is going to happen on Friday,” a close associate of CM informed Newskarnataka.

No ministership to Kumatanahalli and Patil

“Newly elected MLA from Athani Mahesh Kumatanahalli and Kagawada MLA Shrimantha Patil will not get ministerial posts. They will be offered plum boards and corporations,” he explained.

“In the first round MTB Nagaraj and AH Vishwanath, who were defeated in the by-election will also not get the minister posts. Umesh Katti and Aravind Limbavali will make it into the cabinet,” he concluded.
