Bengaluru: Chief Secretary Arvind Jadhav is likely to lose his post with the land grab case against him becoming thicker day by day.
Jadhav is caught in the web of controversy over allegedly buying a plot near Anekal Takuk by misusing his office. He has waived many norms while buying the plot in his mother’s name, it is said.
However, Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials raided his office and house on Wednesday and had acquired several documents regarding the issue.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is very serious about the issue and thinking of replacing Jadhav immediately as a damage control method. Opposition party leaders are likely to rake up the episode and use it as a political weapon to silence Siddaramaiah. According to sources, the CM had already conveyed his displeasure over the issue to Jadhav.
