Chitradurga : According to authorities, a private bus traveling from Bengaluru to Gokarna overturned early Sunday near Holalakere town, resulting in the death of four individuals.
The mishap occurred in the vicinity of Anjaneya Temple on the outskirts of Holalkere Town.
Approximately 30 individuals sustained injuries in the accident, with eight of them reported to be in critical condition. The injured have been transported to Holalakere Taluk Hospital, while the deceased have been transferred to a mortuary.
Residents expressing frustration have attributed the frequent accidents on the route to what they perceive as inadequacies in road construction.
