Chitradurga: The State Government has appointed an administrator for the Murugha Matha in Chitradurga.
Matha seer Shivamurthy is in jail over charges under POCSO Act. So there was a demand to appoint an Administrator for this historical Matha.
Retired IAS officer P. S. Vastrad is appointed as the administrator of the Matha.
According to sources this decision has been taken after obtaining legal opinion from Advocate General.
