Chitradurga: Member of Parliament and Bharatiya Janata Party state president Nalin Kumar Kateel recently mocked former Chief Ministers H D Kumaraswamy and Siddaramaiah.
While addressing a gathering at an event organised by BJP party workers, he said, “From the year 2013, for five years we had a ‘villain’ government and the villain was Siddaramaiah. In the Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition government, the then CM H D Kumaraswamy was the ‘side actor’. Now we have a ‘hero’ government run by CM B S Yediyurappa.”
“He has wiped the tears of the flood victims. He is the real hero. He gives the people of the state what they expect and ask,” he added.
Meanwhile, showing his respect towards veteran Congress leader Janardhan Poojary, Nalin said, “Poojary is my political guru. He has not been charged with corruption till date. I have great respect for him.”
