Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Friday March 11 introduced the idea of building four satellite towns around Bengalurus apart from six integrated towns in the State.
Stating that the City’s population might reach over 5 Crore by 2040, CM Bommai said that plans of developing cities surrounding main City should be made. These satellite towns should have best of connectivity as far as railways, and roads are concerned. Easy mode of transportation too should be developed, he averred.
CM also mooted the idea of having six new integrated cites in the State. “They will be models for building planned cities in the future,”he added. a planned manner.”
