Bengaluru: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend an event together in Varanasi, the home constituency of the latter on Sunday, February 16.
According to officials in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), BSY will travel to Varanasi today and will return tomorrow.
The CM and PM are attending the centenary celebrations of the Jangamwadi Veerashaiva Mutt in Varanasi. Both the leaders will release the digital edition of the Siddantha Shikamani, a holy book followed by the Veerashaiva sect and an app developed for the Veerashaivas.
“BSY will also meet Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. Both the leaders will discuss various issues of mutual cooperation,” the officials informed.
