Bengaluru: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, who is reaching the city, after his America visit, has called for a cabinet meeting tomorrow on Monday, July 8.
CM HDK, who was on a week-long visit to America, had decided to return to the state and handle the political turmoil going on following resignation of scores of coalition MLAs.
According to the reports, it is expected that CM HDK would take suggestions from all the MLAs and leaders of the coalition tomorrow and submit his resignation to the CM’s post.
He is also expected to ask several current ministers of the coalition to resign and distribute those portfolios among the rebel MLAs.
According to media reports, he is said to have spoken with former chief minister and CLP leader Siddaramaiah about the same.
Meanwhile, CM HDK, who reached Delhi on Sunday morning, had faced minor issues with boarding Air India Express flight, which was expected to arrive on time but was delayed. He had cancelled the ticket for this flight later and had boarded a special flight to Bengaluru.
