The Delhi Police took swift action against traffic disruption after a viral Instagram reel depicted a man performing stunts on a busy road. Identified as 26-year-old Vipin Kumar from New Usmanpur in Shahdara, the man’s reckless behavior caught authorities’ attention.

In the video, Vipin is seen brazenly flouting traffic rules by walking across the busy road and then placing a chair in the middle of it, with his motorcycle parked nearby. Concerned about public safety and the blatant disregard for traffic regulations, police swiftly launched an investigation.

Vipin was prosecuted under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and The Motor Vehicles Act. Authorities seized his motorcycle and mobile phone, and initiated proceedings to block his Instagram account, holding him accountable for his actions.

The police’s efforts culminated in the arrest of Vipin from his residence. This incident underscores the importance of swift and decisive action against individuals who endanger public safety and disrupt traffic flow.

In response to this incident, the Delhi Police issued an appeal to citizens, urging them to refrain from engaging in such reckless behavior and to exercise responsible behavior on social media platforms. Such acts not only endanger lives but also undermine efforts to maintain order and safety on city roads.

Through proactive measures and community awareness, law enforcement agencies strive to uphold traffic regulations and ensure the safety and well-being of all citizens on Delhi’s roads.
