Senior party leader Gopal Rai opened the Aam Aadmi Party’s “war room” for the Lok Sabha elections in Delhi on Saturday.

Four of the seven Lok Sabha seats in the nation’s capital are being contested by the party, while the third are being challenged by Congress, a partner in the INDIA bloc. On May 25, the constituencies will participate in the sixth round of the seven-phase elections through voting.

As per Rai, the convener of the party’s Delhi unit, the “war room” at the A headquarters on DDU Marg will house 12 teams for distinct purposes.

The Congress is running from North East Delhi, North West Delhi, and Chandni Chowk, while the A is running from East Delhi, South Delhi, West Delhi, and New Delhi.

According to him, in-charges have been named for each of the four constituencies, and their job is to make sure that the A’s election campaigns are coordinated.

Rai stated that smooth and organized campaigning in the four seats the party is vying for will be ensured by specialized teams for media, social media, legal work, campaign management, logistics, and data management and analysis, among other areas.

Regarding the jailed A supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal’s first roadshow in support of Kuldeep Kumar, the candidate for East Delhi, in the evening, Rai stated that the party’s “Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se” Lok Sabha campaign will commence its third phase as a result of the event.

Door-to-door canvassing was conducted in all four constituencies during the first two phases of the “Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se” campaign. Additionally, “Sankalp Sabhas” were held in response to Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest by the Enforcement Directorate last month in connection with a money laundering case involving the now-canceled Delhi excise policy.

“This election is being fought by the people of Delhi,” Rai stated, expressing the resentment towards the BJP.

On April 29, nominations for the Delhi seat elections will be accepted.
