Bengaluru: Former Karnataka Chief Minister and JDS leader HD Kumaraswamy has decided to meet Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot at the Raj Bhavan this afternoon in connection with the case of Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna.

The JDS leader alleges that the Special Investigation Team is not transparently investigating the case and questions its working style. The former CM will lead a delegation to Raj Bhavan to register a complaint in this regard.

Questioning the SIT’s investigation, HD Kumaraswamy asks about the progress of the 15-day investigation. He also questions why the victims have not been produced before the court so far.

Reacting sharply to Kumaraswamy’s accusation, Home Minister G Parameshwara stated that details of the investigation should not be revealed as the investigation into alleged sex scandal is still going on.

The lawmaker’s special court, which is hearing the bail plea of JDS MLA HD Revanna who is facing charges of kidnapping a victim who used to work as maid at his house in connection with his son Prajwal Revanna sexual abuse case, is likely to convene in the afternoon.

The newly appointed special public prosecutors had requested time to raise objections to this plea, claiming they just joined the legal team. The court dismissed their argument and instructed them to raise objections when the court reconvenes at 2:45 PM today.
