Bengaluru: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has continued his meeting with the sugarcane farmers of the state amid political crisis that is haunting the Congress-Janata Dal (S) state coalition government.
He chaired a meeting here on Monday, July 8 in the meeting room of Vidhana Soudha, regarding the rejuvenation of Mysore Sugar Company Limited in Mandya.
Speaking to media, post meet, CM HDK said, “The meeting with sugarcane farmers regarding the rejuvenation of the Mysore Sugar Company Limited of Mandya was already scheduled and I had informed the farmers about this meeting, before leaving for the United States.”
State Sugar, Port and Inland Transport Minister R B Thimmapura, Transport Minister D C Thammanna, Tourism Minister Sa Ra Mahesh, Minor Irrigation Minister C S Puttaraju and several others were present.
