Shivamogga: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader K S Eshwarappa has said that the Congress-Janata Dal (S) coalition government in the state will collapse.
Speaking to the media on Monday, July 8, Eshwarappa said, “There have been differences among the legislators of the Congress-JDS coalition since it formed the government in the state. But the government ignored it and as a result, 13 MLAs have resigned now.”
“There is no question of pulling leaders like Ramalinga Reddy and H Vishwanath to BJP. All the MLAs have turned against the coalition government. All this is a strategy by Siddaramaiah and there is no doubt about it. But he is blaming Modi and Amit Shah for the resignation of the MLAs. This is a false allegation,” Eshwarappa said.
Stating that the coalition government will not complete its term, Eshwarappa said that a meeting of BJP legislators would be held this evening in Bengaluru. “The next course of action will be decided in the meeting,” he added.
