Bengaluru: Minister for Food and Civil Supplies B Z Zameer Ahmed Khan stated that CM HD Kumaraswamy did a mistake in Mandya at the time of Lok Sabha election by not inviting the Congress leaders for the campaign.
“In the by election, he took all the Congress leaders into the confidence. As a result, JDS candidate LR Shivaramegowda won by over 3 lakh votes, but while fielding his son Nikhil, he didn’t take any Congress leader into confidence. Adding to that he gave statement against the Congress leaders,” he said.
“He should have taken all the eight Congress defeated candidates in the assembly election to confidence before announcing his son’s candidature,” he said.
“In Tumakuru, JDS supremo HD Deve Gowda will win by over 2 lakh votes,” he said and added that after the next election, Siddaramaiah will become CM again.
