Bengaluru: The SSLC results are out and the ranking of the districts has left eyebrows raised. The netizens have started raising questions over how districts like Hassan amd Ramnagar could bag first and second place respectively in the state while too performers remained in fifth and seventh place.

Some have questioned if this had CM Kumaraswamy pulling stings behind the scenes, considering the fact that both districts are the JDS home turfs and also prestige issue for the party.

The education department is in the hands of Chief Minister Kumaraswamy, after N Mahesh quit the post.

The fact that the portfolio is in HDK’s hands and that the districts excelled all of a sudden has made way for trolling. While some had recalled how HDK had made a derogatory statement against the coastal districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi, the two top academically performing districts of the state, many have asked if Hassan and Ramnagar were made top the list.

Many have questioned how DK and Udupi topped the PUC results and how these district were pushed to fifth rank and seventh ranks in the SSLC exams. “Powerful students come from powerful districts,” read a message.
