Bengaluru: Health and social welfare minister B Sreeramulu has announced that soon, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa will lead an all-party delegation to New Delhi in order to seek interim funds so that flood relief works can be taken up across the state.
It can be recalled that CM BSY is in the line of fire for not taking an all-party delegation to New Delhi in order to demand adequate money, under NDRF, for the state.
“Soon the CM will take the appointment of the Prime Minister for this purpose,” he said.
He also stated that there is no financial crunch in the state for developmental works.
On the formation of the new Vijayanagara district, he stated that a final decision in this regard will be taken only after examining the pros and cons of the move.
