Bengaluru: Chikkamagaluru MLA CT Ravi handed over Rs three lakhs to the family members of Shashi Kumar and Sunil Gowda, residents of Suranahalli of the Kanankapura who died after being mowed down by his SUV on February 19.
He handed over the cheques to the family members at the residence of Mandya ASP Balaramegowda. The MLA promised to support the family and also consoled them for their loss.
Later, speaking to the media CT Ravi informed that the case will continue at the Kunigal station. “This is a relief purely on humanitarian grounds,” he said.
It may be recalled that two youth were killed after the SUV in which the MLA was travelling to Bengaluru hit the two during wee hours of February 19. The MLA too had suffered minor injuries.
