Bengaluru: The commission deals began during Congress regime in Bengaluru Development Aurhority (BDA), and now they are trying to pass the buck on to BJP, said BDA Chairman and MLA S. R. Vishwanath.
Speaking to mediapersons on Saturday November 20 he said that it must be ploy of Congressmen to dash off letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleging BJP cabinet members demanding commission from the beneficiaries to undertake works. In all 20 percent would go to beneficiaries, and 80 percent to agencies during Congress regime, he alleged. After BJP came into administration, we have brought in a clean system. It is not right to allege of corruption without proper evidences. If proper evidences are submitted, the State will undertake the required enquiry without fail, he added.
Vishwanath said that as he had promised when he came into helm of affairs that he will bring in a clean system. I have myself worked against corruption, and have placed many a complaint with ACB. Many have been jailed, and given appropriate punishment too, he asserted.
