Bengaluru: Fearing that the BJP may take up Operation Lotus to bring down the coalition government, Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwar postponed his US visit scheduled between September 10 and 14.
According to the sources in the KPCC, as per the original schedule, Parameshwar was invited for an international seminar on climate change in San Francisco but party high command directed him not to leave the state till former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah returns to the state and major irrigation minister DK Shivakumar comes out of ED investigation.
Meanwhile, DCM Dr G Parameshwar is expected to meet the party MLAs on Tuesday in Bengaluru to discuss the prevailing political situation.
