Bengaluru: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia assured Kannadigas of setting up Kannada academy in the national capital in next 15 days.
Speaking at the valedictory of the Patla Vishwa Yaksha Sambhrama event in the national capital, on Tuesday evening, he stated that the Delhi government is also planning to organise a Kannada festival in Delhi in the month of November.
“Our government is committed to strengthening all the languages. Effort will be made to translate Kannada books into Hindi,” he said.
“On October 5, I am attending an event in Dharward in Karnataka. In this event I will speak about the education revolution in New Delhi,” he said.
He also assured all the support for the Kannada events in the national capital in coming days.
