Bengaluru: Shortly after his tragic death, it has been alleged that unverified social media posts and misinformation cost Minister of State for Railways Suresh Angadi his life.
According to sources in the state’s BJP unit, negligence on Angadi’s part proved costly.
Sources say that Angadi tested positive for COVID-19 on September 1, however, instead of taking rest, he travelled to Mumbai and later, to Delhi. Even after reaching Delhi, he is said to have suffered from fever and didn’t get treatment, assuming that COVID-19 is just like any other flu.
“He was also treated with plasma. He would have recovered by now if he hadn’t travelled or been negligent,” sources added.
