Bengaluru: In a big relief to the vehicle drivers, city police commissioner Alok Kumar directed the city traffic police to consider the vehicle and driving license documents in the digital format.
The issue cropped up when several vehicle drivers alleged that the traffic police are unwilling to consider the Digilocker documents produced at the time of verification and continue to impose a fine.
It all started when a bike rider questioned the city compol on Twitter as to why the city police are not ready to consider the Digilocker documents. As several vehicle drivers and netizens extended their support to the biker, compol Alok Kumar issued a direction in this regard.
