Bangalore: The discontent among the ticket losers is already on the boil in the BJP soon after the party announced tickets for the 72 assembly segments in the state on April 8 evening for the forthcoming assembly polls.
N R Ramesh, a prominent BJP city corporator representing Yediyur ward and a ticket aspirant, accused the party of “selling” Chickpet Assembly seat ticket to Uday Garudachar for a whopping price of Rs 2 Crore.
BJP State President BSY downplayed the allegations and said, “There is no discontent within the party as reported. Disappointment may be there among certain aspirants including Ramesh. I will hold discussion with all those party men including N R Ramesh, to set the house in order.”
N R Ramesh had made serious accusations against Congress over land deals and on several other issues in the past.
