Bengaluru: An incident that occurred at his residential office in R.T nagar here on Friday March 18 left Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai shocked.
CM Bommai was listening to appeals and receiving complaints on Friday from the public, and that is when an aged man attempted to die by consuming a liquid, suspected to be poison from a bottle to the horror of CM. However, at the nick of time, the security personnel immediately took him aside and interrogated him.
The man has been identified as Chandrashekhar from Sunkadkatte, who has alleged that he has been cheated off lakhs of rupees in a land sale deal wherein Police Inspector of Annapurneshwari Nagar was involved, he charged. He urged the CM that he should be served justice at the earliest.
