Bengaluru: One of the major proposals of the BBMP budget 2019-20 is installing outdoor air purifiers at an estimated cost of Rs.5 crores and accordingly, the first machine has been installed at the Hudson circle of the city on a pilot basis. BBMP commissioner N Manjunatha Prasad inaugurated the new purifier.
According to the company officers, the cost of the machine is Rs.2 lakh. “Once in ten to 15 days, this machine needs to be cleaned,” informed a company representative.
