Bengaluru: With the idea of showing an united face amid fear of Operation Kamala, former CM, JDS-Congress coordination committee chairman Siddaramaiah hosted a dinner for the MLAs of both the parties, on Tuesday night at Banquet Hall of the Vidhana Soudha. All the senior leaders including CM HD Kumaraswamy attended the dinner.
According to the sources, Siddaramaiah decided to host the dinner to test the coalition strength. “CM HD Kumaraswamy, DCM G Parameshwar and others attended the dinner. A few disgruntled MLAs including BC Patil from Hirekerur too attended the dinner,” said a Congress MLA.
“The dinner was held in a cordial atmosphere. There was no talks about politics,” he explained.
