Bengaluru: The state government directed authorities to identify land for the final rites of the Covid 19 victims.
According to the order, DCs of all the districts are asked to identify land in the city outskirts to ensure that there will not be any crisis to carry out the final rites. The government asked the authorities to send reports in this regard, immediately.
Government asked authorities to identify the government land for this purpose. It can be recalled that earlier new crematoriums were proposed in Bengaluru city following huge deaths due to Covid 19 second wave.
