Bengaluru: ‘Maneyangaladalli Matukate,’ is one of the popular monthly events organized by the Department of Kannada and Culture. Former prime minister and JDS supremo, H D Deve Gowda will attend this event on November 17, where the general public can pose questions directly to him.
According to the department authorities, a politician is attending this event for the first time.
They informed that the event will be held at Ravindra Kalakshetra in the city, on Saturday at 4 PM.
In this event, Gowda will recall his past days and answer questions raised by the audience.
“It is a public dialogue. Every month writers, actors, social activists participate in this event, but for the first time, the department is inviting a politician for the event,” informed an officer.
“Earlier former CM M Veerappa Moily had attended this event, but he attended the event as a writer and not as a politician,” he added.
