Bengaluru: In a freak accident, a Head Constable working at a traffic police station died after he fell down from a moving train.
The deceased has been identified as Govindaraju (50). He was working at Yeswanthpura traffic police station.
According to sources, the incident took place when Govindaraju was on his way from Tumakuru to Yeswanthpura in the Gol Gumbaz Express. It is said that he fell down from the moving train at Muthiyala Nagar and suffered injuries on his back and head and died on the spot.
A case was registered at the Yeswanthpura Railway police station in this regard. The body was sent to MS Ramaiah hospital for postmortem.
